Race Reportson October 24th, 2011No Comments

This is the time of year that you really start to see what you are made of, as the cream always rises to the top as we approach November. This was another massively successful weekend of racing for the team. Everyone rode well but a big shout out to Chris, who took his first elite win of the season! Also, Courtney is clearly showing some good form as the season progresses.

And my version:

Karl and I headed down to Manzanita Park for the 2nd weekend in a row
for CCCX #4. It was a beautiful sunny day with temps in the upper 70s.
Gotta love CA CX! The big question of the day was how would Keith come
up with a new course in the same venue as last week. Turned out we
rode most of last week’s course in the opposite direction, which did
indeed make it a different experience. For once we did not finish on
the uphill pavement, but rather down on the grass field with a double
barrier section about 50m before the finish line (a favorite of
Keth’s!).

SpookyCross, CCCX#4

Race Reportson October 17th, 2011No Comments

Race report from Devon:

We had a large Rambuski Law contingent this weekend at Spooky Cross which made for a fun weekend of racing!

The spooky course consisted of a lot of grass, a little dirt, a few tight turns, a long sand run, a flyover, a quick stair runup, and lots of crazy clad fans!

I started off strong on Day 1 of the UCI racing and was sitting top three for the first half.  I fell off quite a bit after sliding out in a corner, but held on for 4th!  Day 2 started off terribly, but I moved my way through the field back into 4th position where I ended up once again.  Trina and Edwin provided great “pit crew” support during the races and even made a 5star quality dinner for us out of their camper van on Saturday night.  Great racing, great teammates, great weekend!

Lion Of Fairfax, Chicago Cross Cup

Race Reportson October 4th, 2011No Comments

Team Rambuski Law ventured to Marin to bust out some BMX skills at the Lion of Fairfax course. The girls took home a 3rd and 4th place and Edwin put the hammer down as well!

Quick report from Devon:

I raced in Chicago at the Chicago Cross Cup Hopkins Park race… a Chicago local race in the series where I first started cross.  I raced the women’s 1-2-3 and took home the win.  A couple hours later, I raced the men’s 1-2-3… it was a long hard race… I’m not sure where I placed… more towards the back… but I did beat a few guys! :)

I am headed to Fort Collins next weekend!
